Are you craving some “me” time?

We believe everybody deserves to carve out space from their busy schedules to focus on their health and well-being, as well as to keep them in a place of balance and equilibrium.  At Nourished Yoga we’ve done our best to make this possible, by offering childminding for our week-day classes and a varied timetable to suit all lifestyles.  Whether you’re a Yoga novice hesitant to try a class, or an experienced practitioner looking for a class that goes beyond Asana, we’ve got you covered.  Come join our wonderful Nourished Yoga community, and give yourself the time you deserve.

What you can expect from our classes:
Taking a Yoga class should be a joyful experience!  We believe everyone should be able to participate, no matter their level of experience.  We place emphasis on our students listening to their bodies and doing only what feels comfortable.  Our classes offer personalised attention, and include mindfulness and Pranayama (breathing) practices.  Our aim is to make Yoga accessible and fun, and have our students leave their mats feeling fantastic!

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
General Hatha
This is a medium paced class suitable for complete novices, experienced practitioners, and everybody in between.  Variations and modifications are offered so that each student finds the balance between working comfortably within their capabilities, and challenging themselves when they are ready.  Each week the sequence of postures change, covering a wide range of Asana.  Whilst there may be some flow within the class, poses are often done in a more static style to focus on safe alignment.  Movement is done with breath awareness.  Classes are sprinkled with mindfulness practises, and end with a beautiful Savasana (resting pose).  You’ll leave feeling replenished and nourished on every level!

Group Meditation
Our group meditations are suitable for those who have never meditated before, to those with experience.  This class is an absolute delight for the senses, using singing bowls, incense and candles to create a sanctuary for you to unwind in.  Each week you’ll be guided through a deeply relaxing meditation, and experience the powerful energy that arises when a group comes together with a shared purpose.  You’ll leave this class feeling incredibly calm and centred, and more connected to the wisdom, intuition and peace that lies within.

Childminding
The Terrey Hills Swim School makes it possible for yogi mums (and dads) to participate in our classes by providing childminding.  Come enjoy a class with us, knowing that your little one is nearby and being well looked after.

The crèche is available for all our morning week-day classes during school terms and is sometimes available during holidays too, however during this period please confirm by calling first. This service is offered free to families who are enrolled in swimming classes at the swim school, otherwise a charge of $5.00 for one child, or $8.00 for two or more, is applicable.

The crèche is located at the swim school’s main reception. Please bring your little one’s pram with you.


What other services do we offer?

Bridal Showers / Hen Parties / Wedding Day Yoga
Start you pre-wedding celebration, or your actual big day, with a nourishing, nurturing Yoga practice.  Kerry will come to you anywhere on the Northern Beaches, and lead you, your friends and your bridal party through a lush Yoga class and centering Meditation. This is an awesome bonding experience that will leave you feeling calm, relaxed and restored. For more information please contact Kerry.

Private and semi-private classes
Nourished Yoga offers private and semi-private Yoga classes.  We can come to your home or facilitate the classes in our studio.  Private classes offer sequencing tailored specifically to your needs.  Semi-private classes are great for small groups who wish to practice at a time and place that suits their schedules.  For more information please contact Lisa.

Corporate Yoga
