Owner & Teacher

A big warm hello and welcome to our unpretentious, friendly community. I’m Lisa and I have a fierce passion to share my 20 years of experience embodying yoga. I teach in a down to earth and practical way, learning from my students every day.

I teach good old fashioned Hatha with a touch of slow flow to deeply soothe the nervous system. The focus is on mindful movement, sustainable postures, pauses and a breath centred practice that nourishes on some level of body, mind and/or spirit.

With 4 children to nurture, I believe our practice is seeded and watered on the mat and grows and flourishes in our lives. Expanding our self awareness comes from having a tool kit to self-regulate anywhere, anytime.

I am constantly building on my Yoga Alliance RYT200 training and continuing my professional development with workshops, courses and training. Just some of them include: The Yoga and Neuroscience Connection with Kristine Weber, Restorative Yoga with Cyndi Lee, Yoga for Cancer Survivors, Wellbeing: It’s Not Just a Policy, The 5 Koshas, Body Thrive Ayurvedic Practices, Life Skills Teacher Training for Children, Healing Chanting, The Accidental Counsellor.

Come, and be curious! ♥ Leave feeling nourished ♥

Meditation and sound healing
Alice began exploring meditation as a way to support herself through depression and anxiety.  The positive impact it had was astounding, and inspired Alice to share her personal journey and the benefits of meditation with others.

Alice has spent years diving deep into self-enquiry through her Yoga and meditation practises.  She attends silent meditation retreats on a regular basis, and in 2016 studied meditation with Nature Care College.

Through embodying meditation in her daily life, Alice has an acute understanding of the positive impact it has, but also how challenging it can be to quiet the monkey-mind.  She brings this compassion, as well as her vast experience, to every class she teaches.

Alice’s creates a sanctuary with her group meditations.  Her aim is that each participant connects to the peace that lies within.

Hatha, yin and dynamic yoga teacher
Claire Tait
Apart from being a Yoga teacher, Claire is also a Kinesiologist with an absolute love for all things energy. The TCM aspects of Kinesiology weave beautifully with Vedic philosophy, providing a deep understanding that we are way more than the physical shells of our bodies.

Since her teens she has studied crystal healing, auro soma, energy healing, tarot, aura reading, EFT, flower essences and feng shui. In her twenties she became a Reiki Master with her lineage back to Dr Mikao Usui. At the same time she was also an aerobics instructor.

Claire found yoga when she was told she needed a knee replacement and hasn’t looked back… for her it is the perfect combination of movement and breath-work with an energetic and spiritual essence. Her classes are vinyasa flow with awareness of breath whilst maintaining both strength and ease.

She is passionate about her family and friends, good food and wine, animals and nature, acts of kindness and an appreciation of all the simple things in life. She tries to live in gratitude every day.

“Yoga has been transformational in my own life and my aim is to empower my students to understand that it is a practice for every body and can meet each person exactly where they are on a particular day.”
