Hello, I’m Lisa, the owner of Nourished Yoga. I have over 20 years experience embodying yoga and integrating the principles into my life in a down to earth and practical way.
With 4 children to nurture, I believe so much of our practice evolves off the mat. Expanding our level of consciousness comes from having a tool kit of self-regulation tools to draw on anywhere, anytime.
I am constantly building on my Yoga Alliance RYT200 training and continuing my professional development with workshops, courses and training. Just some of them include: The Yoga and Neuroscience Connection, Yoga for Cancer Survivors, Wellbeing: It’s Not Just a Policy, The 5 Koshas, Body Thrive Ayurvedic Practices, Life Skills Teacher Training for Children.
You’ll find my classes brimming with fluid movement, invitational, therapeutic, sometimes challenging and often thought provoking. They will ALL have practical tools to use for the real juicy stuff that happens outside of the studio.
Come, and be curious! ♥
Alice began exploring meditation as a way to support herself through depression and anxiety. The positive impact it had was astounding, and inspired Alice to share her personal journey and the benefits of meditation with others.
Alice has spent years diving deep into self-enquiry through her Yoga and meditation practises. She attends silent meditation retreats on a regular basis, and in 2016 studied meditation with Nature Care College.
Through embodying meditation in her daily life, Alice has an acute understanding of the positive impact it has, but also how challenging it can be to quiet the monkey-mind. She brings this compassion, as well as her vast experience, to every class she teaches.
Alice’s creates a sanctuary with her group meditations. Her aim is that each participant connects to the peace that lies within.
